Care Instructions for Wood Products
-
Disconnect from power supply before cleaning.
-
Moisture and heat can damage wood finish. Wipe moisture promptly and dry with a soft cloth.
-
Avoid direct contact with sunlight.
-
Over time, air and sunlight will change the color of natural wood. If possible, occasionally rotate the item to allow a uniform color to develop.
-
Wood will expand and contract with seasonal humidity changes. Maintain consistent humidity levels to minimize movement in the wood and prevent warping.
-
Do not use products containing acetone, trichloroethylene, chlorine, ammonia, thinners, or abrasive detergents.
-
Treat your furniture with wax every 6 months (transparent wax for protecting and polishing wood furniture).
-
Apply the wax with a clean cloth following the direction of the grain pattern. Treat both wood surface and exposed edges. Using another cloth, wipe to remove excess wax to form a smooth finish.
